The Ahearn advantage
The device is the easy part.
Anyone can sell you a CK67. What decides whether it earns its place over five years is the platform underneath it, the technician who answers when it stops, whether your systems can trigger the work at all, and how long the security updates keep coming.
One platform across the whole fleet
Every current Honeywell mobile computer sits on Mobility Edge, so one development, deployment and security framework covers the CK67 in the aisle and the CT30 XP on the shop floor.
Technicians across Canada
Contracts, parts and field technicians across Canada, so a failed printer is a service call and not a stopped line.
Printing that your systems trigger
Directed picking, live inventory and scanned handovers, with the label coming off the printer because the system asked for it rather than because someone re-keyed it.
Android support that outlives the rollout
The CK67 is guaranteed through Android 18 where the CK65 stops at 14. On a five year fleet that decides whether you replace devices because they broke or because the security updates ran out.
Honeywell devices by industry
Which Honeywell devices suit which industry?
Ahearn & Soper specifies Honeywell mobile computers, scanners, printers, RFID and voice for six kinds of Canadian operation. The hardware overlaps between them. What changes is the duty cycle, the cleaning regime, and how far the operator has to read from.

3PL & Logistics
Several clients in one building, where inventory, labelling and billing stay separate and provable per account.

Manufacturing
Work in process tracking, line-side labelling and traceability that has to survive the plant floor.

Healthcare
Patient identification, specimen labelling and ward rounds, on devices that get wiped down between patients.

Logistics
Proof of delivery, dock scanning and route work, where the label prints in the vehicle rather than the depot.

E-commerce Fulfillment
High volume picking, packing and returns, where a bad scan becomes a customer service call the next morning.

Food & Beverage
Cold chain labelling, date coding and lot traceability, on hardware that copes with moisture and washdown.
Questions we get asked before a Honeywell rollout
Short answers to what buyers ask most. If yours is not here, describe the aisle, the barcode and the duty cycle and a specialist will size it with you.
Talk to a specialist →Which Honeywell mobile computer should we be looking at?
Start with how the device is held, not the spec sheet. The CK series keeps a physical keypad alongside the touchscreen, which is what scan-heavy distribution and manufacturing work still wants. The CT series is touch only and phone shaped, for retail associates, drivers and field workers. The ScanPal EDA line is the value tier, and the CW45 is worn on the arm so both hands stay free for the carton.
What does Mobility Edge actually change?
It means one development, deployment and security framework across the whole fleet. Every current Honeywell mobile computer sits on it, so the CK67 in the aisle and the CT30 XP on the shop floor are managed the same way rather than as two separate device estates.
How long will the Android security updates last?
Long enough to matter to the business case. The CK67 is guaranteed through Android 18 where the CK65 stops at Android 14. On a five year fleet that is the difference between replacing devices because they broke and replacing them because the updates ran out.
How do we pick the right scanner range?
By the shortest and the longest distance you actually scan at, which is the question most quotes skip. On the Granit Ultra line, HD suits small dense codes at close range, SR general work, XR reach across an aisle, and XLR reading a rack label from the aisle floor. Get the optics wrong and the scanner is frustrating no matter how well built it is.
Which Honeywell devices are built for healthcare?
Several lines ship in a healthcare configuration with a disinfectant-ready housing, including the Xenon Ultra 1960h and 1962h scanners, the CT37 HC and ScanPal EDA52 Healthcare computers and the PC45D Healthcare printer. Use the Healthcare filter in the finder above to see them together.
Are any of the models on this page discontinued?
Everything listed is a current model. Two are worth confirming before you order: Honeywell's support pages list the IH21 and the IF2B as discontinued while their own product pages still carry no end-of-life notice. If either is in a quote you have been given, check current availability with us first.
What happens when a device fails?
It becomes a service call rather than a stopped line. Contracts, parts and field technicians across Canada, so the fleet is covered wherever it is running.
Not sure which Honeywell device fits the job?
Tell us the aisle, the barcode and the duty cycle and we will size the fleet against them. Fifty years of putting this hardware into Canadian operations.
Plan builder
Tell us the job, not the model number
Where the devices live, what has to be printed or scanned, and what it has to talk to. A Honeywell specialist at Ahearn & Soper reads that before anyone quotes.
What happens next
You describe the job
Three short steps and about a minute: the work, the kit if you already know it, and where to send the answer. No account, no pricing gate.
A specialist reads it
A Honeywell specialist at Ahearn & Soper reads it. Not a call centre script and not an auto-responder.
You get a shortlist
Two or three Honeywell models that fit the job, with the site requirements and running costs set against each one.
Start your spec
A specialist reads every one of these. Describe the work and the environment, not a job title, and you get a spec back rather than a brochure.
Your answers go to a Honeywell specialist at Ahearn & Soper. Nothing on this form places an order and nothing is charged.
Ahearn & Soper has supplied and serviced this class of hardware in Canadian warehouse, manufacturing and healthcare operations for fifty years.
